DEBORAH DEANALLEN POINDEXTER
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Deborah Dean, a daughter of Sandra and Donald Dean, 64 Lansdowne Blvd., and Allen Poindexter, a son of Lonzetta Poindexter, 2737 Robinwood Place, and the late William Poindexter, were married at 3 p.m. July 5 at Price Memorial AME Zion Church.
The Rev. Harold Poindexter, the groom's uncle, and the Rev. Ernest Ellis presided. After a reception at The Embassy, the couple left for Niagara Falls.
They live at the bride's address.
The bride's ivory satin halter-style gown featured a trumpet skirt that flowed into a train accented with Battenberg lace appliques.
Pistachio-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Paulette Dean and Donna Smith, and the bridesmaids, Tanika Robinson, Pamela Brown, Lannette McKnight, Attendra Copeland, Fay Mitchell and Sharon Harrison. Junior bride was Jessica Poindexter, and flower girls were Kula Gilchrist and Janelia Green.
Robert Wigfall was best man, and groomsmen were Curtis Jones, Derrick Logan, Dean Logan, Terrance Pegram, Clarence Mitchell and Emanuel Hill. Junior groom was Dontrel Woods, and ring bearer was Allen Poindexter Jr. Ushers were Bocardie Crowder, Antwan Stone and DuJuan Poindexter.
Also participating were Heather Jones, Denise Dawson and Crystal Dawson.
Mrs. Poindexter is a child-care provider at Care Bears Day Care. Her husband is employed at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield.
