Big Brothers readies annual golf fund-raiser

GIRARD -- Registration deadline is Aug. 22 for Big Brothers & amp; Big Sisters of Mahoning Valley's annual Golf For Kids' Sake fund-raiser.
The four-person scramble will be Aug. 25 at Pine Lakes Golf Club in Hubbard and begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Cost is $75 per golfer or $300 for a team.
The field is limited to 144 golfers.
Golfers get 18 holes with cart, a continental breakfast, lunch, and a chicken and roast beef dinner.
The fun includes door and team prizes, a 50-50 raffle, skins, mulligans, hole-in-one contest, longest/shortest drive contest, closest to the pin and more.
As in the past, hole sponsorships are available for $100 each.
