V Seventeen men from three counties come together as Just Friends, a vocal harmony group that will perform from 2 to 4 p.m. in Harvey S. Firestone Park, Columbiana. The Just Friends repertoire includes barbershop, gospel songs, romantic ballads and Broadway show tunes. Admission is free and seating is on the lawn.
V "A Taste of Franklin" isn't only about food. Yes, restauranteurs will have samples of their specialties from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fountain Park, Route 8 North, Franklin, Pa. In addition, there will be a concert by Catro from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; children's activities; an antique show and sidewalk sale; and a motorcycle cruise-in on 12th Street, between Liberty and Buffalo streets.

V They won't be just clowning around at Assorted Nutz Clown Alley's carnival from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Avalon Inn & amp; Resort, 9519 E. Market St., Warren. Activities will include face painting, skits, magic, a Chinese auction and, of course, clowns in full regalia. After all, it'll be International Clown Week. Cost is $2 for adults, $1 for kids ages 17 and under. Proceeds will go to Camp Ho Mita Koda in Geauga County, where diabetic children learn to manage their health. V Nationality days will be celebrated in August at Kennywood Park, Pittsburgh. Monday is Slovene Day, and ethnic foods will be prepared in the kitchen in Pavilion 4. Tuesday is Polish Day, which means Polish food, a program from 3 to 6 p.m. and polkas from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Food, dancing and history will be shared on Hungarian Day, which will be Wednesday.
