Hoyt Institute accepts slides for art show



NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts is accepting slides through June 14 to select works for the 2003 Mid-Atlantic Juried Art Show, to be Oct. 1 to Nov. 21.
The exhibition is limited to fine arts entries by artists living in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. No student work, installations or videos will be considered.
All work must have been completed within the past two years.
The juror for the exhibition is Elizabeth Thomas, assistant curator of contemporary art at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh.
Artists will be notified of acceptance by Aug. 10, and accepted works must be received at the Hoyt by Sept. 13.
