COLLEGE SIGNINGS Girard's Racick will attend Baldwin-Wallace for football



GIRARD -- Jake Racick, a Girard High School senior, will play football at Baldwin-Wallace College in the fall.
A 6-foot, 240-pound center, Racick earned three varsity letters and also wrestled in high school.
He was twice selected to the all-county team.
Scott Jones Jr., a senior on the East Palestine High golf team, recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Malone College and resume his golf career.
Jones (5-11), a four-year letterman, broke the school record for single-season scoring average with 35.2. He led East Palestine to three Tri-County League championships.
Jones also was a member of the National Honor Society, and plans to major in sports management at Malone.
He received the Incentive Scholarship, and served as class vice president for three years.
Jones is the son of Scott Sr. and Lyda Jones.
Angela Cavalier, a Poland High School senior, will play soccer at Mount Union College in the fall.
A midfielder and stopper, Cavalier earned three varsity letters with the Bulldogs and played in the regional tournament in 2002.
