Dave Huffman of Salem aced the 166-yard, No. 3 hole at Salem Hills Country Club, using a 5-iron. He was playing the course with Bob Caparanis and Tony Vechiarelli. It was the second hole-in-one of Huffman's career.
Nick Sainato of Boardman aced the No. 8 hole on the North Course at Mill Creek Park. He used a pitching wedge on the 144-yard hole and it was witnessed by his father. It was his third careeer hole-in-one.
Al Pacella Jr., of Pittsburgh scored a hole-in-one on the No. 5 hole at Countryside Golf Course in Coitsville. He aced the 189 yard hole with a 4-iron and the shot was witnessed by his father, Al Sr.
George Pintea aced the No. 15 hole at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield. He used a 5-iron on the 175 yard hole and was in a threesome with Pete Bennett and Dr. Robert McClusky.
Bob Biel of Youngstown at Castle Hills Golf Course in New Castle on the 171-yard, No. 2 hole with a 5-iron. Witnesses were Jim Reuff and Bill Cox.
Tom Yurko of Pulaski, Pa. at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Pulaski on the 160-yard, No. 7 hole with a 9-iron. Witnesses were Frank Masucci and Tom Holmes.
Jerry Burdett of New Castle, Pa. made ace on the 184-yard, No. 18 hole using a 7 iron at Rolling Hills golf course. Witnesses were Scott Allison, Blane Hovis and Larry Fairchild.
