EPSILON MU OMEGA Sorority to sponsor seminar

HOWLAND -- Epsilon Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority will present its annual seminar, "Women Celebrating the Millennium ... Reflecting and Assessing" from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Avalon Inn and Resort.
Elaine Wilson will be in charge of a mini-health fair to be held until 10 a.m., and workshops will feature speakers Vicky Doe on fitness and Wanda Smith, Loretta Pleas and Gladys McIntosh-Thomas on HIV/AIDS awareness.
A luncheon and fashion show will begin at noon featuring "Mannequins on Parade" coordinated by Vaughn Glover of Cleveland.
Tickets are $30. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund and outreach community activities.
