Have the write stuff?Essay could win a B & amp;B
If the thought of owning a Colorado bed-and-breakfast inn makes you wax poetic, then start writing and you could become an innkeeper.
Kami and Giles Kolakowski, owners of The Ice Palace Inn Bed and Breakfast in Leadville, Colo., for eight years, are sponsoring an essay contest to determine the inn's new owners. The couple wants to move with their twin daughters and son closer to family and to start a new B & amp;B. The owner candidate who best expresses why he or she would like to own The Ice Palace in 150 words or less, submitted with a $230 entry fee, will win the five-guest-room Victorian inn.
The contest runs through April 30, with an option to end it once the minimum 2,500 entries are received.
The B & amp;B was just voted Inn With the Most Historical Charm for 2003 in a national contest.
