BAZAARS
XFirst Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, will hold its annual turkey dinner, bazaar and country store Friday. The bazaar and country store will be open from 1 to 7 p.m., and dinners will be served from 3:30 to 7. Dinners are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 5-12 and free to those 4 and under. Tickets will be available at the door.
XJohn Calvin-St. Paul United Church of Christ, Mathews and Sheridan roads, Boardman, will hold a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature drawings, a bakery, Christmas Corner, craft and trash and treasure sales. Food also will be available.
BINGO AND CARD PARTIES
XChristian Women's Organization of St. James the Apostle Church, Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa., will sponsor a card party and bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the social hall. Tickets are $5. Lunch, table prizes, door prizes and a special raffle are planned. For information call (724) 964-8276.

XLe Cercle Francais will sponsor a wine-tasting fund-raiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Youngstown Maennorchor, 831 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Music will be provided by Hayley McEwing, cellist. XRescue Mission of Mahoning Valley will sponsor its second annual Ride for Rescue and picnic beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at McMahon Hall, across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.
