YOUNGSTOWN -- The annual Peace Award banquet, presented by the Mayor's Task Force on Crime and Violence Prevention, will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Guest speaker will be victims' advocate Yvonne Pointer-Triplett, author of "Behind the Death of a Child." Pointer-Triplett has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and has been inducted into the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame. She is a featured columnist for Cleveland Life magazine.
