BOARDMAN -- Jennifer Mitchell, a daughter of Judith and Mike Shakhtra, 2677 Cooper St., Youngstown, and Fred Lewis III, a son of Fred Jr. and Alfreda Lewis, 1214 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, were married Sept. 7 at First Covenant Church.
The Rev. Jamiel Radman presided at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held in honor of the couple at Krakusy Hall, Youngstown.
The bride is the owner of M & amp;M Market in Youngstown, and the groom, a Youngstown State University graduate, is a machinist with Meridian Manufacturing, Youngstown.
They live on North Beverly Avenue, Youngstown.
Pearls and crystals encrusted the bodice of the bride's gown. It was designed with spaghetti straps and a tulle shirt.
Red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kelly Goricki, and the bridesmaids, Leana Woolf, Margie Saade, Rayya Rashid and Carly Shumaker. Flower girls were Meya Shakhtra, Hadil Shakhtra, Victoria Rhyal, Samantha Rhyal and Christina Rhyal.
The duties of best man were performed by Kenneth Calvin, and serving as groomsmen were Ed Lewis, John Saade and Michael Olson. Ring bearers were Kalil Shakhtra and Mohammed Shakhtra.
