The Grand Canyon Railway makes one round-trip daily between Williams, Ariz., and the Grand Canyon National Park. Tickets range from $54 to $139 for adults, and $24 to $109 for children. Various packages are available that include lodging, meals and bus tours. The railway offers connecting service with Amtrak's Southwest Chief, and with Air Vegas. At the Grand Canyon Airport, just south of the park entrance on Route 64, at least five airlines offer helicopter and small plane sightseeing trips over the Grand Canyon and Kaibab National Forest. Prices are typically $75 to $90 for a plane flight, or $100 to $150 for a helicopter flight. Several companies offer combination flying and rafting trips.
