BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Gregory S. Parillo accepted congratulations during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, after their wedding Aug. 30 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
The Rev. Bob Quaintance presided at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the former Alison McCarty, daughter of Patrick and Judy McCarty, 135 Far Horizons Drive, Easton, Conn., and the son of Jack and Diana Parillo, 5520 Cider Mill Crossing, Austintown.
Since returning from a honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple live at 92 Fitz Henry Blvd., Columbus.
Pearls and rhinestones accented the lace bodice of the bride's pearl-white strapless gown styled with a cathedral train.
Maid of honor, Kathy Alexander, wore a raspberry-colored dress, as did the bridesmaids, Lindsay and Erin McCarty, sisters of the bride; Sharon Parillo, the groom's sister; Lindsay Miller; and Laura Beckwith.
Best man was William Amendol. Groomsmen were Matt McCarty, the bride's brother, and Scott Burns, Scott Freeze, Joel Hughes and Phil Lowden.
Mrs. Parillo graduated from Wittenberg University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and is pursuing a master's in business administration from the University of Phoenix through its online program. She is a credit analyst at BMW Financial Services, Columbus.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in environmental science at Youngstown State University. He is a research specialist at BMW.
