SUSAN QUINNPHILLIP MAIDEN
HOWLAND -- Opus Twenty One was the setting Aug. 18 as Susan Quinn, 1283 Redtail Hawk Court, Boardman, and Dr. Phillip G. Maiden, 4830 Loganway Ave., Hubbard, exchanged marriage vows at 5 p.m. before the Rev. Stephen P. Pressey, pastor of St. Rocco Church, Youngstown.
A reception was held after the service.
The bride is a daughter of the late William J. and Margaret Mary Quinn. The groom is a son of Al Maiden of Jonesborough, Tenn., and Gracie Leonard of Bristol, Tenn.
The couple honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada, and live in Liberty.
The bride, who was escorted by her friends Frank A. Chimento and Mary Barb Young, both of Youngstown, wore a rum-pink gown featuring a satin bodice embellished with pearls and lace appliques.
A lavender dress was worn by the honor attendant, Lori O'Malley of Boardman.
Best man was the groom's son, Phillip G. Maiden Jr. of Sharon, Pa.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree, the bride is a teacher employed by Youngstown City Schools District at The Rayen School.
The groom graduated from King College in Bristol, Tenn., with a bachelor's degree in physics and from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine, Johnson City, Tenn. He completed residencies in psychiatry and child psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell University College of Medicine in Manhasset, N.Y., and is medical director at Belmont Pines Hospital, Liberty.
