AUSTINTOWN -- Mandy Jean Sabol of Canfield became the bride of Mark Laurie of Austintown during a ceremony Aug. 17 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
The Rev. Stephen Popovich officiated at the 2 p.m. service for the daughter of Joseph and Charlene Sabol of Canfield and the son of Martha Laurie of Austintown and the late Andrew Laurie.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception held at Archangel Michael Center in Campbell. Since returning from a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, they live in Austintown.
Pearl flower patterns enhanced the bride's gown fashioned with a scoop neckline on the tank-top bodice, an A-line skirt and chapel train bordered with satin bands.
Matrons of honor were Rebecca Kacmar of Poland and Jennifer Skowron of Canfield, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Missy Frank of North Jackson, Sharon Beckett of Austintown and Amanda Laurie of Austintown, the groom's niece. They wore lilac dresses. Samantha Skowron of Canfield, the bride's niece, was flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Dave Laurie of Austintown. Groomsmen were Chris Skowron of Canfield, the bride's brother-in-law, and Eric Newton, Don Wertman and Gary Barnes, all of Austintown.
Mrs. Laurie is employed as an administrative assistant at Charter One Bank in Salem.
Mr. Laurie works in sales and service at Austintown Glenwood Cycle in Austintown.
