POLAND -- Poland Presbyterian Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17 for the wedding of Heather Lynn Burkey, daughter of Paul and Patty Burkey, 63 Woodland Drive, New Middletown, and Ryan Alan Cozart, son of Al and Nikki Cozart, 14 Walker Court.
The Rev. Gerald Fennell officiated, and a reception followed at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center in Youngstown.
The couple are living at 2216 Venloe Drive since returning from a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride's A-line gown was designed with a fitted bodice and spaghetti straps. It was adorned with beadwork, and the skirt, matching shawl and cathedral train were embellished with pearls, rhinestones and lace.
The groom's sister, Lori Cozart, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Ashley Ambrosini, the bride's cousin, and Mindi Sandine, Amy Burnett, Mandy Burnett and Dana Rodgers. They wore majestic-gold gowns.
Alan Cozart was best man for his brother, and serving as groomsmen were Nick Gura, Jason Curall, Kevin Burnett, Matt McKenzie and Stu Leather. Ushers were John Ziccardi and Brian Bodine.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Mrs. Cozart is an administrator-bookkeeper at InterStahl USA Inc. in Boardman.
Her husband attended YSU and is employed by Seven-Up in Austintown.
