FUND-RAISER Junior League plans Bargain Bonanza



This year's event will feature a health fair.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Junior League of Youngstown will sponsor its biennial Bargain Bonanza from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Stambaugh Auditorium, Fifth Avenue.
The fund-raising event will feature a large selection of gently used merchandise including clothing and accessories, toys, books, sporting goods, furniture, electronics and housewares. New linens donated by members also will be available at prices well below retail. Proceeds from the sale will benefit community projects sponsored by the JLY.
As part of this year's event, a "Healthy Living Expo" co-sponsored by the league and Forum Health, will take place on the upper floors of the auditorium. It will feature screenings, assessments and health education.

Co-chairmen of the event are Tina Kinnick and Merry Wagner, and serving on the committee are Karen Naffah, Stephanie Hunter, Liz Grdic, Judith Kata, Pat Greene, Carolyn Korenic, Toni Douglass, Val Zurawick, Dawn Burke, Mary Bigowsky, Missy Scheetz, Cathy Campana, Shirley Smith, Amy Williams and Debbie Groubert.
