Scouting report: Westminster (0-1) had an open date last week after losing its season debut to Walsh, 28-26, on Sept. 7. Sophomore tailback Scott Froelich rushed for 137 yards to key the Titans' offense, and as a result currently leads the PAC in rushing with 137 yards per game. Mansfield (1-1) is coming off a 20-19 win over Buffalo State last week.

MOUNT UNION vs. BALDWIN-WALLACE

Scouting report: Mount Union (1-0) was idle last week after launching season play Sept. 7 with a 44-21 decision over Wisconsin-Whitewater, to stretch the nation's longest current winning streak to 29 games. Senior running back Dan Pugh rushed for 110 yards on 19 carries and three touchdowns, while senior quarterback Rob Adamson completed 18 of 29 passes for 348 yards and three TDs, and junior wide receiver Nick Sirianni caught four passes for 110 yards and two TDs. Baldwin-Wallace (1-0) also did not play last week after winning its season opener over Allegheny, 22-2 win, on Sept. 7. Scouting report: Hiram (0-2) is coming off a 45-0 loss to Bluffton last week. Senior linebacker Brad Maguth had 11.5 tackles against Bluffton, and leads the team with 20.5. Senior defensive back John Pascarella is second on the team in tackles with 20. Mount St. Joseph (0-1) was idle last week after losing to Wilmington in its season opener, 45-20.
BLUFFTON vs. THIEL
When: 1:30 p.m.
Where: Alumni Stadium, Greenville, Pa.
Scouting report: Thiel (0-2) was overtaken by Geneva last week, 41-26, after building a 26-10 lead early in the third period on sophomore defensive back op. The Tomcats got that 26-10 lead on a touchdown by sophomore defensive back Kennard Davis (Farrell). That score materialized when senior linebacker Donte Derby intercepted a pass at Thiel's 26 and returned the ball 50 yards to the Geneva 15 where he tossed a lateral to Davis who completed the distance. The Tomcats have beaten Bluffton only once in seven meetings. Bluffton routed Hiram last week, 45-0.
OLIVET NAZARENE vs. GENEVA

Where: Reeves Stadium, Beaver Falls, Pa.
Scouting report: Geneva (1-1) rallied from a 26-10 deficit with 31 straight points to overcome Thiel, 41-26, last week. QB Ben Swallow (West Branch) went 7-for-12 passing for 130 yards and one TD with two interceptions for the Golden Tornadoes. Olivet Nazarene (0-1) was not scheduled last week after losing its season opener to Wisconsin-Platteville, 17-6.

GROVE CITY vs. DEFIANCE

Scouting report: Grove City (1-1) and Defiance (1-1) are playing each other for the first time ever. Grove City dropped a 9-6 overtime decision to Carnegie Mellon last week. Defiance rallied from a 14-0 deficit to overcome Adrian, 17-14, last week. Junior strong safety Gregg Grupp of Grove City was named PAC Defensive Player of the Week against Carnegie Mellon.

FAIRMONT STATE vs. SLIPPERY ROCK

Scouting report: Walsh (2-0) defeated West Liberty, 27-8, last Saturday to stay unbeaten. St. Xavier (2-0) is coming off a 79-6 blowout of Concordia. The Cougars have scored 131 points in two games and are ranked No. 19 in NAIA.

TRINITY INTERNATIONAL vs. MALONE

Where: Fawcett Stadium, Canton.
Scouting report: Malone (1-0) did not play last week after beating Thiel in its season opener, 13-9, on junior quarterback Eric Rector's 19-yard scoring pass to senior Jason Diebler. The winning score was set up when sophomore defensive back Matt Kimmich blocked a punt with 11:30 left in the game, and sophomore Mike Yost (Poland) recovered on the Thiel 19. Junior linebacker Jason Kennedy came up with a team-high 12 tackles, including five solo stops, to lead Malone. Kennedy gained honors as Mid-States Football Association Defensive Player of the Week. Trinity International (2-0) whipped Aurora last week, 36-13, to remain undefeated.
