Carrie Wilson leads Ridge

MINERAL RIDGE -- Carrie Wilson led the way for the Mineral Ridge High volleyball team Wednesday as the Rams defeated Lowellville 15-8, 15-1 in an Inter-County League match.
Wilson scored five points with two aces, and also contributed 13 assists and two blocks to spark Mineral Ridge (10-3, 4-3 ICL).
Dariana Casado had nine kills and four blocks to aid the Rams.
Tammi Nero led Lowellville (3-8, 0-7) with six points and four assists. Kathy Peterson had three kills.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Woodrow Wilson (3-10) was led by Anquinita Beck with 11 points, Jaqualia Williams with six kills, and Jessica Martinez with 10 points and 37 assists at Wilson.
