REDEVELOPMENT Downtown Youngstown

The property committee of the Youngstown Central Area Community Improvement Corp. took these actions Tuesday:
Approved a $6,800 contract with R.T. Vernal Paving and Excavating Inc. of North Lima to pave a portion of the parking lot behind the Voinovich Center. The lot has settled over the past few years, creating a pond of standing water after rain.
Came to an agreement with Cboss Community Network, which will establish and operate a Web site for the agency with virtual tours of four CIC-owned buildings at no cost to the CIC.
Announced that the roof repair work to the Two Guys clothing store on West Federal Plaza is finished and under budget. The budget for the repair work was $4,500; the job cost $3,900.
