YOUNGSTOWN -- Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 10 for the wedding of Melissa Ann Williams, 5930 Sunrise Drive, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Christopher Nicholas Cherne, 4586 Victorian Square W., Canton, Mich.
The Rev. Robert Offerdahl presided as nuptial vows were exchanged by the daughter of Allan and Nancy Williamson, 5530 Loretta Drive, Boardman and son of Roe and Nancy Haskin, 6390 Camp Blvd., Salem, and the late Kenneth Cherne.
After a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in the park, the couple left on a wedding trip to Aruba. They live at the groom's address.
The bride's white satin off-the-shoulder gown was enhanced with rose embroidery and featured a cathedral train.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by Karen Williamson, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Rhonda Williamson, Renee Rotunno, Britton Williamson, and Sharon Williamson, and the junior bridesmaids, Ashlie Dutton and Alexis Dutton. Flower girl was Delaney Reardon.
Best man was Daniel Cherne, and groomsmen were Scott Haskin, Victor Rotunno, Keith Williamson, and Jeffrey Williamson. Junior groomsmen were Jonathan Dutton and Terrance Reardon.
The bride, an audiologist at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, earned a master's degree in ideology at the University of Akron
The groom is a foreman with Olympic Laser Processing of Canton.
