NORTH JACKSON -- The wedding of Melissa Goehring and William Roger Shade took place at 11 a.m. Sept. 14 at Bailey Road Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Marburger and William Trunick officiating. Timothy and Bonnie Goehring of Poland are the bride's parents, and the groom is a son of Beverly Shade of Tampa, Fla., and Donald L. Shade of Jamestown, N.Y.
The couple were honored at a reception in the church fellowship hall, and departed for a honeymoon to Niagara Falls. They will live in Youngstown.
A princess-style gown of lace and satin with a squared neckline edged in scalloped lace was worn by the bride.
Joyce Shade, the groom's sister-in-law, was matron of honor, and Carrie Johnson was maid of honor. They wore crystal blue gowns as did the bridesmaids, Lori Olsen and the bride's sisters, Jessica and Stefany Goehring. Flower girl was Dominica Acevedo.
The groom's brother, Donald R. Shade, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were another brother, Thomas Shade; the groom's cousins, Ben and David Steves; and his nephew, Zack Shade. D. Richard Shade Jr., the groom's nephew, was ring bearer, and ushers were William Trunick Jr. and the groom's cousin, Daniel Steves.
Mr. Shade attended the University of South Florida and is a truck driver with Venezia Hauling in New Middletown.
