BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Michael John Pavelko Jr. honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, after their wedding Aug. 17 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. The Rev. Rick Judy officiated for the former Jennifer Elaine Susany and the groom, both of 3941 Arden Blvd.
Parents of the bride are William and Karen Susany, 1052 North Ave., Girard. The groom is a son of Michael J. Pavelko Sr., Rockdale Ave., and Joyce Pavelko, St. Andrew's, Canfield.
A reception took place at the Elm Tree in Struthers.
The bride wore a white, A-line satin gown styled with a cathedral train and crystal-beaded bodice.
Jaime Pavlik, the bride's sister, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Ariza, the groom's sister, and Heather Belgin and Emily Fisher. They wore sage-colored dresses. The bride's mother made the gowns worn by the junior bridesmaid, Caroline Standohar, and flower girls, Maya Ariza, the groom's niece, and Samantha Pavlik, her niece.
The groom's cousin, Paul White, was best man. Groomsmen were Rigel Ariza, the groom's brother-in-law; Michael Pavlik, her brother-in-law; Andrew Dearing; and Chris Wargo. Junior groomsmen was Evan Standohar and ring bearer was Mark Standohar.
Mrs. Pavelko graduated with a degree in finance from Youngstown State University. She is an administrative financial planner with First Educators Investment Corp., Youngstown.
Mr. Pavelko, who attended YSU, works in delivery for Sheely's Furniture and Appliance, North Lima.
