YOUNGSTOWN -- The atrium at the Commerce Building was the setting for the Aug. 10 wedding of Janine Anne Kish, daughter of Jack and Kathy Kish, all of Youngstown, and Thomas Andrew Sorboro, son of Louis and Nancy Sorboro, all of Kent.
The Rev. Ed Balint officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, and the newlyweds received guests afterward during a reception at the Youngstown Club.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Marco Island, Fla., the couple live in Hilliard.
Sequins and pearls adorned the bodice and hemline of the bride's princess-style satin gown.
Matron of honor was Heidi Tonus of Poland and maid of honor was Shauna Passink of Ann Arbor, Mich. Bridesmaids were Emily Kish, Columbus, the bride's sister-in-law; and Leslie D. Renzo, Dublin; and Amy Sherwood, Austintown.
John Sorboro, Cary, N.C., the groom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jim Sorboro, Minneapolis, the groom's brother; John Kish, Columbus, and Jeff Kish of Hilliard, the bride's brothers; and Steve Watson, Ypsilanti, Mich. Ben Sorboro, Minneapolis, the groom's nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Sorboro graduated from Youngstown State University. She is employed by American Electric Power in Columbus.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Mr. Sorboro is employed by Championship Sports Group in Columbus.
