Gentiles mark 54th anniversary at Georgetown

POLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Gentile of Shetland Lane were honored Aug. 11 at a celebration at The Georgetown in Boardman in observance of their 54th wedding anniversary.
The couple renewed their wedding vows with the Rev. Jerry Hunt officiating.
Hosts for the celebration were their son, Phillip Gentile of Mississippi, and daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Jerry Bucci of Pittsburgh. Also attending were their two grandchildren.
Mr. Gentile and the former Josephine Colasurdo were married Sept. 12, 1948, in Canton.
He served in the U.S. 5th Army in Italy during World War II and retired after 46 years of employment at Youngstown Building Material.
His wife was employed at Livingston's as a sales associate and is a homemaker. She also is a member of the AARP.
The Gentiles belong to the Christian Assembly Church in Boardman.
