Sept. 5
Warrant: A 29-year-old Boardman man surrendered to police and was arrested on a charge of cultivating marijuana.
Possible breaking and entering: An employee at Sweeney & amp; Associates, 8440 Market St., called police after an alarm sounded and the woman said she saw a man fleeing the area.
Credit-card fraud: A man in the 20 block of Midwood Circle reported someone used his credit card to make $2,021 worth of fraudulent purchases.
Thefts: An AM-FM CD player, four CDs and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle in the 8000 block of Glenwood Avenue. Also, a woman reported an AM-FM CD player and five CDs stolen from her car.
Stolen checks: A woman reported three checks worth a total of $650 were stolen and cashed at various Metropolitan Bank locations.
Theft: A man reported someone broke into his father's vehicle in the Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center parking lot, 7120 Tiffany Blvd., and stole an in-dash CD player, four 10-inch speakers, an acoustic amplifier, a stereo system's power supply and a box for a subwoofer unit.
Auto theft: A Poland man reported his 1988 Olds Cutlass stolen after he went to pick it up at The Garage, 7730 Southern Blvd.
Theft: An employee at Taco Bell, 458 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported $200 stolen from a manager's office.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet containing $200 stolen while she was at a BP gas station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A .357-caliber handgun, a video camera and $400 worth of collectors series quarters were stolen from the bedroom of a residence in the 8000 block of Deerpath Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested a 23-year-old Youngstown woman on a charge of passing bad checks.
Warrant: A 31-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County Jail on a charge of obstructing official business.
Theft: Police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile after a theft at Wal-Mart.
Criminal damaging: Someone threw two rocks through a window and damaged a table at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 6636 South Ave.
Theft: An in-dash stereo system unit was taken from a car in the 7900 block of Lost Tree Drive.
Warrant: Police arrested a 27-year-old Boardman man on charges of domestic violence and child endangerment.
Warrant: Police arrested a 36-year-old Lowellville man on a warrant issued in Struthers charging him with domestic violence.
Theft: Police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after a pair of jeans and a shirt were stolen from Kohl's.
Assault: An employee at Energy Wise Home Improvements Inc., 5164 Youngstown-Poland Road, reported being assaulted in the business' parking lot.
Criminal damaging: Someone kicked in a vehicle's passenger-side rear door while it was parked at JoAnn Fabrics, 267 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A man reported some juveniles struck his car with eggs and water balloons while he was driving on Overhill Road.
Domestic violence: Police arrested an 18-year-old Campbell man after his girlfriend said he assaulted her at the Boardman Inn, 7109 Market St.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 25-year-old Canfield man in the 6900 block of Tippecanoe Road and charged him with domestic violence after a family member reported a domestic disturbance and another man said the suspect assaulted him.
Theft: Someone stole a muffler from a used car at Rick Bayus Motors, 5206 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Theft/auto theft: A red bicycle and two five-gallon gas cans were taken from South Avenue Cycle, 7661 South Ave. Also, a 2002 Polaris Scrambler all-terrain vehicle was stolen.
Warrants/drugs: Police arrested a 20-year-old Boardman woman on charges of failure to appear in court and underage consumption of alcohol. Police also found a small bag containing suspected marijuana, as well as a cigar box with suspected marijuana.
Warrant: A 10-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with receiving stolen property.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Zander Drive.
Thefts: Police arrested a 25-year-old New Castle, Pa., woman on a theft charge after two pairs of women's shoes were taken from Kohl's. Also, police arrested a woman and a 15-year-old girl from New Castle on theft charges after miscellaneous women's shoes were stolen.
Theft: An employee at Papa John's Pizza, 393 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported being shortchanged an undetermined amount of money.
Theft: A cellular phone was stolen from a truck in the 6600 block of Applewood Boulevard.

Theft: An undetermined amount of cigarettes was stolen from Giant Eagle.
Criminal damaging: Someone shattered an outer window pane at Ace Diamond & amp; Jewelry Brokers Inc., 7110 Market St.
Criminal damaging: Someone scratched two obscenities into a vehicle and damaged its paint in the 4800 block of Southern Boulevard.
Burglary: A wedding band, a men's bracelet, four miscellaneous bracelets and a computer tower were stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of Mathews Road.
Theft: An 18-year-old Poland man was arrested on a theft charge after two packs of cigarettes were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman reported seeing a man flee from her vehicle after a carton of cigarettes, a CD case, 12 cassette tapes, a CD player and an adapter cord were stolen from it.
