RB Luke Srock fuelsWestern Reserve
BERLIN CENTER -- Western Reserve High running back Luke Srock totaled 188 rushing yards on 26 attempts and scored four touchdowns as the Blue Devils defeated Sebring 41-8 last week.
Srock also made 5-of-6 extra-point attempts.
The Blue Devils improved to 2-1 while Sebring fell to 0-3.
Western Reserve will play host to South Range Friday.

Westminster's Muirearns PAC honors
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Westminster College senior women's tennis standout Anne Muir has been named player of the week in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
Muir led the Lady Titan netters to a pair of wins last week, as Westminster defeated non-conference opponent Penn State-Behrend 7-2 and PAC opponent Washington & amp; Jefferson College 6-3.
She was a perfect 3-0 on the week, posting a straight set win at No. 1 singles against Behrend before posting double wins at No. 1 singles and doubles against W & amp;J.
Avalon assistant prolong drive qualifier
SEWELL, N. J. -- Tom Roskos of Sharpsville, Pa., an assistant golf pro at Avalon Lakes Golf Course, qualified for the final of the RE/MAX World Long Drive championship by placing fourth in a field of 78 contestants at the South Jersey Golf Course.
Roskos had a 361-yard drive.
The championship will be held at the Palms Gold Club in Mesquite, Nevada on Oct. 14-19.

Former YSU coachresigns from Kansas
LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Ken Conatser, former assistant coach at Youngstown State and Ohio State, resigned his latest position as offensive line coach at Kansas University.
Head coach Mark Mangino, of New Castle, Pa., said Conatser resigned for personal reasons.
He has been replaced by Brandon Blaney, a 1999 YSU graduate, who was a former student assistant coach at YSU.
Angels pitcherunder investigation
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Anaheim Angels ace Jarrod Washburn is under investigation by Anaheim police in an alleged sexual assault, the team said.
The 28-year-old Washburn has not been charged and the case has yet to be turned over to the Orange County district attorney's office, said Scott Boras, Washburn's agent.
Webber denieslying to jury
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Chris Webber, making his first public statement since being indicted on federal charges, said he did not lie to a grand jury and that he tried to help prosecutors in their case against a University of Michigan booster.
The All-Star forward was indicted Monday in Detroit on charges he lied about his dealings with Ed Martin, who admits lending the NBA star $280,000 while he was still an amateur.
NASCAR's Ruddput on probation
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Ricky Rudd and a Robert Yates Racing employee were fined a total of $15,000 and placed on probation for the rest of the season by NASCAR for fighting in the garage.
Rudd was fined $5,000 and Larry Lackey, an employee of Yates' engine shop, was fined $10,000 for their dispute following Saturday night's race at Richmond International Speedway.
CART's Max Panisto replace de Ferran
FORT WORTH, Texas -- CART driver Max Papis will replace the injured Gil de Ferran for Marlboro Team Penske in the IRL's season finale.
That will cost De Ferran a chance to win the title Sunday in the Chevy 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Sampras, Agassipass on Davis Cup
NEW YORK -- The all-American U.S. Open final between Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi took enough out of both players to keep them off the Davis Cup team.
Once the United States' top two players passed on the chance, captain Pat McEnroe chose Andy Roddick, James Blake, Todd Martin and Mardy Fish to play France at Roland Garros, home of the French Open, next week.
