Police seek information on injured woman

CAMPBELL -- A 38-year-old Youngstown woman found outside a vacant Chambers Street home Friday with head and face injuries remained in critical condition today as police try to piece together what happened.
According to reports, neighbors in the first block of Chambers discovered Sheila Emery of Glenwood Avenue on a sidewalk in front of 20 Chambers about 5:30 p.m. Friday. She was bleeding from her head and face and was barely conscious.
Emery was unknown to area residents but was identified by a driver's license and other items found at the rear of the property. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Police suspect Emery may have climbed an antenna and fallen from the roof of the building because it appeared her injuries were sustained on the concrete walk, the report states.
Although there are no indications of foul play, Police Chief Gus Sarigianopoulos said assault has not been ruled out.
