Canfield, Mooney and Warren JFK also won girls games.
NILES -- Brit Davis scored two goals as the Poland High girls soccer team extended its undefeated streak to five games with a 3-0 win over Niles Monday.
The Bulldogs (3-0 Metro Athletic Conference) got their other goal from Dana Donchess, who also contributed an assist as did Taryn Carlson and Angela Cavalier.
Poland goalies Britt Drobish and Mary Sutcliff made six and three saves, respectively.
Niles (2-4, 0-1) goalie Amanda Orwig made 16 saves.
Canfield 10, Salem 0
CANFIELD -- Kelly Williams, Grazia Sorice and Abby Ferko had two goals each to lead Canfield (5-1-1, 1-0-1 MAC), while Noelle Zalac, Kelly Zavoral, Melanie Seiser and Amy D'Amico added one apiece. Goalie Callie Carrera had six saves.
Salem goalie Emily Loudon had 16 saves.
Mooney 2, Ursuline 0
STRUTHERS -- Freshman Kelly Willis scored in the first half on an assist from senior Katie Vinopal, then assisted on freshman Marisa Simon's goal in the second half to lead Mooney (6-0, 1-0 Steel Valley Conference). Cardinals senior keeper Adrianne Detesco made seven saves.
Akron SVSM 2, Champion 1
CHAMPION -- Christy Sullivan and Mia Wood each scored a goal for the Irish. Wood also had an assist. Britni Bunnell, the goalie, had 14 saves.
Heather Marcinko scored the goal for the Golden Flashes (4-2). Christa Andamasaris had an assist. Goalkeeper Liz Wood had 15 saves.
Warren JFK 2, Beaver Local 1
WARREN -- Lauren Natale and Melissa Peterson each scored a goal for the Eagles (2-2-1). JFK had 11 shots on goal compared to eight for the Beavers. Keeper Michelle Rossio made seven saves.
Katie Groff scored the goal for the Beavers (3-1). Goalkeeper Abby Hale made six saves.
Maplewood 6, Liberty 4
LIBERTY -- Brittany Rhodabarger had two goals while Damaris Bliss, Tara Thompson, Brittney Spencer and Brianna Nelson each had one goal to pace Maplewood (1-6).
Brittney Humphrey scored four goals for Liberty (1-4).
BoysYOUNGSTOWN -- Eric Klingemier and Kyle Arnold each had two goals as Badger (3-2) defeated Chaney 5-1 at Kochis Field.
Nathan Raught had one goal, while Eric Prior and Don Donaldson each contributed two assists. Goalie John Gilliland came up with nine saves.
Mike Pero had Chaney's (1-4) goal on an assist from Dwin Moran while goalie Sabrina Crincic made 22 saves.
Lakeview 4, Hubbard 2
HUBBARD -- Phil Butch had two goals while Mike Minnich and Kyle Licht had one each to lead Lakeview (4-0-1, 2-0 Trumbull Athletic Conference). Goalie Alex Koltsov made six saves.
Justin Daly and Chris Styne each scored a goal for Hubbard (3-2-0) while goalie Aaron Sevura made nine saves.
