YOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place Aug. 18 in the presence of the Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline as Stacie Ciferno and Michael Gancarz, both of 3864 S. Canal St., Newton Falls, were united in marriage at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
Parents of the bride are Lou Ciferno of Ravenna and Sharon Showers of Newton Falls. The groom is a son of Karl Gancarz of North Jackson and Rhonda Wiesner of Austintown.
The couple were honored afterward during a reception at Aulizio's Banquet Center in Warren.
They have returned from a honeymoon at Myrtle Beach, S.C., and live at their Newton Falls address.
The bride's white gown featured a halter-style bodice and was embellished with sequins.
Michelle Tomko was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Angela Lukocic and the groom's sister, Lisa James. They wore coral-colored gowns. Flower girls were the bride's niece, Camerin Snodgrass, and the groom's niece, Hannah James.
Serving as best man was Roger Housel, and groomsmen were Steve James, the groom's brother-in-law, and Jason Stanke. The bride's nephew, Austin Ciferno, and the groom's nephew, Seth James, were ring bearers.
The bride is a sophomore at Kent State University Trumbull Campus in Champion.
The groom studied at the NEO Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Training Center in Richfield and is a union finisher with Youngstown Tile and Terrazzo, Canfield.
