WARREN -- Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mikulka honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C., after their wedding Aug. 3 at St. Mary Church.
The Rev. Bernard Schmalzried, the bride's uncle, officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the former Lori Schmalzried, 720 Churchill Road, Girard, and the groom, 6 E. Liberty St., Girard.
The daughter of Jim and Pam Schmalzried of the Churchill Road address and the son of John and Lauri McLane, 426 E. Liberty St., Girard, and Mark and Lisa Mikulka, 1800 Wingate Court, Virginia Beach, Va., were honored during a reception at Aulizio's Banquet Center.
A second-grade teacher at Holy Family School, Poland, the bride earned a degree in early childhood education at Youngstown State University. The groom, who works in quality co-op at General Extrusions Inc., Youngstown, is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at YSU.
They live at the groom's address.
The bride wore a satin dress accented by embroidered flowers, pearls and sequins.
Her sister, Lisa Schmalzried, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leanna and Brittany McLane, the groom's sisters; Mary Schmalzried, her sister; and Kristen Hartz and Jimise Teague. They wore periwinkle dresses. His cousin, Rachel Wike, was flower girl.
Michael Davis was best man. Groomsmen were Dale, Adam and Glenn Mikulka and Kevin McLane, the groom's brothers, and Jim Schmalzried, the bride's brother. Ring bearer was John McLane Jr., his brother.
