AKRON -- Bruce W. Parker and his bride, the former Kristen Ann Luff, both of 2119 Stonehenge Circle, honeymooned in Hawaii after their marriage Aug. 10 at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Merlen Levering and were honored afterward during a reception at Raintree Country Club in Green.
The daughter of David and Marsha Luff, 3940 Walnut Wood Way, Green, and the son of Lewis W. Parker and Rosemary Parker, both of Canfield, live in Coventry.
The bride's satin A-line gown featured a tank-style bodice enhanced with beading.
Periwinkle-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Courtney Luff, and the bridesmaids, Teresa Holt, Lisa Good and the groom's niece, Ann Komara. Flower girl was Katherine Komara, also his niece.
Best man was Tony Innocenzi, and groomsmen were Jerry Barnett, Dean Congemi and the groom's nephew, Donnie Komara. Ushering guests were Donald Komara, his brother-in-law, and Matthew Beresh.
The bride graduated from Miami University in Miami with a bachelor's degree in education and earned her master's in education at Akron University. She is a teacher at Firestone Park Elementary School.
The groom, a social-studies teacher at Mogadore High School, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and is pursuing a degree in instructional technology at the Akron University.
