AUSTINTOWN -- Monsignor George Appleyard officiated at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 18 as Karrie Colleen Myers of Boardman and Gregory Michael Dutko, also of Boardman, were united in marriage at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church.
The couple received guests during a reception held afterward in the church social hall before leaving on a wedding trip to Ireland.
They live in Boardman.
The bride is a daughter of Margaret Myers of Austintown and John and Beverly Myers of Canfield.
Parents of the groom are Ronald and Sue Dutko of Poland.
Adorned with pearls, lace and sequins, the bride's mermaid-style gown featured a scalloped V-neckline, long sleeves and a full skirt that flowed into a chapel train.
A pink and red gown was worn by the groom's sister and honor attendant, Elizabeth Dutko of Poland.
The groom's father performed the duties of best man, and ring bearer was the couple's son, Gabriel Dutko of Boardman. Guests were ushered by the bride's brother, Stephen Myers of Austintown, and her father.
The bride is enlisted in the U.S. Navy Delayed Entry Program.
The groom served as a staff sergeant with the U.S. Air Force and is employed in the automotive department at Wal-Mart in Austintown.
