PETERSBURG -- Jamie Lynn Lewis and Curtis Matthew Smith, both of 7716 S.W. 102 Place, Miami, were united in marriage during a 5:45 p.m. ceremony Aug. 10 in the garden at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. Jack and Marge Lewis, 12140 Mallard's Crossing.
Robert M. and Barbara Smith, 4099 Baymar Drive, Youngstown, are parents of the groom.
The Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline presided at the wedding, and a reception was held afterward in the garden.
The bride's strapless organza gown was embellished with rum-pink flowers.
Cobalt blue and peridot green gowns were worn by Elizabeth Gillam, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Rebecca Bowen, Karry Smith and the groom's sister, Christine Smith. Flower girl was Ashley LaBatte, a cousin of the bride.
The duties of best man were performed by Michael Gusler, and serving as groomsmen were Bryan Morgan, Victor Liguore and the bride's brother, Justin Lewis. The groom's nephew, Michael Marquette, was ring bearer.
The bride, a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree, is pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Miami in Florida.
The groom, an art director and teacher at Alexander Montessori Elementary School in Miami, graduated from Cleveland Institute of Art with a bachelor's degree in fine arts.
They live at their Miami address.
