Aug. 26
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 33-year-old Niles man on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia when police found a bag and a pipe with suspected marijuana residue after a traffic stop. He was then taken to Mahoning County Sheriff's Department on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic count and a drug charge.
Aug. 27
Shoplifting: An unknown number of disposable razor blades were stolen by two suspects from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Arrest: Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Cooksville, Tenn., on a warrant from Columbus, and police also found a bag with a small amount of suspected marijuana in the back of his pickup believed to belong to his girlfriend.
Drug abuse: Police arrested an 18-year-old Boardman woman on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Lisbon Street.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a suspect for possession of marijuana at Westmont Drive and Southward Drive.
Drug offense: Police arrested a man for possession of suspected cocaine at state Route 46 and Notre Dame Drive.
Assault: An assault was reported in the residential 10 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Burglary: A DVD was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A CD player was taken from an auto in a parking lot at 4729 Woodhurst Drive.
Menacing: A victim reported being threatened over the computer in the residential 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Disturbance: A verbal fight among seven people was reported in the parking lot of Big Lots, 1730 S. Raccoon Road.
Fraud: Three unauthorized deductions from a checking account at Charter One Bank, 6071 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Two windows were broken at Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.

Aggravated menacing: A female was threatened by a male in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Tanning lotion was reported stolen from Tropitan, 1746 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A gazing ball was stolen from the residential 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.
Menacing: An employee was threatened by a customer at TrueNorth, 4200 Mahoning Avenue.
Vandalism: Two windows were broken at Lynn Kirk Elementary School, 4211 Evelyn Ave.
Warrant: A male suspect was arrested on a warrant out of Mahoning County Court here for theft at EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested a woman on a warrant out of Niles for failure to appear on a theft charge and handed here over to Niles police. She was arrested at the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A cement swan was stolen from the 80 block of South Main Street.
Theft: Five cases of pop were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5400 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A woman had checks stolen from Save-A-Lot, 1715 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Police arrested one man on charges of drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs, and a second man on a warrant out of Mahoning County Court here for falsification. The arrests were made at Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A plastic window was broken at Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.
Theft: A white utility trailer was stolen from the residential 5000 block of Herons Ridge.
Theft: An Ohio dealer's plate was stolen from McQuaid's gas station, 5160 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A gazing ball was stolen from the residential 400 block of Southward Drive.
Theft: An employee is a suspect in a theft at the BP gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A black leather purse and its contents were stolen from the 3000 block of Chaucer Way.
Theft: A wallet and its contents were stolen from a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Driftwood Lane.
Disorderly conduct: One male was issued a summons and another was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in two separate episodes at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons for the arrest of a man for use of suspected marijuana at Wedgewood Plaza, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Disorderly conduct: Police arrested a man on a charge of disorderly conduct at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Two underground utility locators were stolen from an auto at the EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Recovered property: A 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada was recovered on Bundy Lane after being stolen from Youngstown.
Theft: Two 18-packs of beer were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was scratched and the tires cut in the residential 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Theft: Beer was stolen from Sav-A-Step, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road. Police chased a man on Interstate 80 into Youngstown and warrants were issued for his arrest.
Criminal mischief: An Austintown police car was hit with a paint ball in the 6600 block of Silica Road.
Aug. 31
Warrant: Police arrested a woman on a warrant from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department at state Route 46 and Interstate 80 for possession of drugs and possession of criminal tools.
Warrant: Police arrested a man on a warrant out of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for drug trafficking in the 300 block of Dunbar Avenue.
Auto theft: A 1997 Dodge Caravan was stolen from the residential 3000 block of Lanterman Road.
Criminal damage: A male juvenile is accused of damaging a screen in the residential 3000 block of Kerrybrook Drive.
Drug offense: A male suspect was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at Paisley Avenue at Maureen Drive.
