VIENNA -- Married at 2 p.m. July 27 at Our Lady Queen of the Holy Rosary Church were Theresa Palette, daughter of Wilbert and Elaine Palette, 4107 Warren-Sharon Road, and Andrew Platt, son of Sherron Platt, 4468 Lyntz Road, Newton Falls, and Ronald Platt, 2318 Riverside Drive, Newton Falls.
The Rev. Howard Remski officiated, and a reception was held at Roby Lee's in Newton Falls.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, and are living in Cuyahoga Falls.
The bride's gown was designed with an embroidered satin and tulle corselet bodice accented with pearls and sequins. The tulle skirt fell to a chapel train.
Mary Hall, the bride's sister, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Regina and Joan Palette, also her sisters; Jackie Macias; and Linda Palette, her sister-in-law. They wore champagne-colored gowns. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Livia Hall.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's cousin, Ian Stein, and serving as groomsmen were Joe Easterling; Tyler Monroe and Eric Heim, his cousins; and Scott Denowski. Lincoln Hall, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Platt graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Youngstown State University and is a technical service representative for PPG Industries, Lordstown.
Her husband holds an associate degree in applied business from the Golf and Business Academy of the Carolinas in Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is a Professional Golf Association golf professional at Highlander Golf Center in Akron.
