U Take a nostalgia trip with Mr. Jack Daniel's Original Silver Cornet Band at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in Palace Theatre, Cleveland. The band has an interesting history. Distillery owner Jack Daniel of Lynchburg, Tenn. paid $227.70 for instruments from Sears and Roebuck catalog in 1892 and recruited some of his employees to perform at town functions. U Warren Miller's action film "Storm" will be shown at 8 p.m. Nov. 16 at Civic Theatre in Akron in conjunction with SkiFest. Ski resorts will participate in pre-movie activities. "Storm" captures mountain sports stars Glen Plake, Doug Coombs, Seth Morrison and Barrett Christie in action, from Alaska to the Austrian Alps.
