Schools seek continued support in Trumbull County

This is a year of renewal in Trumbull County. There are 11 school issues appearing on ballots in the county Nov. 5 and all but one are renewal issues.
That's quite a testament to the ability of school districts in the county to get by with what they have.
The Vindicator believes that education is one of the most important investments a community can make, both in its children and in its own future. It urges residents to support their local school districts in every way possible, including financially.
In the one district in which additional money is being sought, the issue provides for renewal of a different kind.
A 7-mill bond issue in the Joseph Badger Local School District in the northeastern quadrant of the county would allow the local school district to build a new central school building, with the state providing almost $2 for every $1 raised by the issue.
The bond issue would raise $10,150,000 over 28 years, while the state would provide more than $18 million. That's a sound investment and The Vindicator endorses its passage.
