SPRING LAKE, N.J. -- Holy Trinity Chapel was the setting at 3 p.m. Sept. 21 as Melissa Thompson and Preston Wells were married by the Revs. Peter Cooke and Joseph Crockett.
Linda and Jeff Thompson, 1541 Logan Drive, Manasquan, N.J., are the bride's parents, and Mr. Wells is a son of Penny and Bill Wells, 4117 Oak Knoll Drive, Youngstown.
A reception took place at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, N.J.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba. They are living at 23 Holly Court, Flemington, N.J.
The bride's mother fashioned her gown of silk peau de soie with a dropped waist, square neckline and detachable cathedral train. The overskirt of silk organza was trimmed with appliqu & eacute;s and pearls.
Nicole Slecker was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Toni Tartza and Jennifer Spottke. They wore navy-blue and periwinkle gowns.
She was also attended by her brothers, Jeff and Scott Thompson.
Best man was the groom's brother, Chris Wells, and groomsmen were Jason Goeller, Robert Maher, Andrew Wright and Roshahn Whitner.
The bride is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with bachelor's degrees in economics and finance. She is a financial analyst with Johnson & amp; Johnson in Bridgewater, N.J.
Mr. Wells holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bucknell University and a master's in business administration from Lehigh University. He is finance manager with Johnson & amp; Johnson, Raritan, N.J.
