YOUNGSTOWN -- Married at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Our Lady of Hungary Church were Wendy Edith Nyers, daughter of Lois and Steve Nyers Jr., 610 N. Hartford Ave., and Todd Allen Potts, son of Betty Ann and Alonzo Potts Sr., 6007 Glenridge Road, Boardman.
A reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Bora Bora. They are living at 85 Melrose Ave., Boardman.
The bride's strapless gown featured a beaded bodice and A-line skirt that flowed to a chapel train.
Maid of honor was Melinda Ellis, and bridesmaids were Becky Stewart and Jennifer Freeman, the bride's cousins; Shelley Rauschenbach, the groom's cousin; MaryAnn Schlosser; Valerie Lazzara; and Kelli Nyers, the bride's sister-in-law. They wore smoky purple gowns. The groom's niece, Brenna Potts, was flower girl.
Chris Bartel performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Steven Nyers, the bride's brother; Edward Kirsch, the groom's cousin; Matt Ciminero; Dave Sabanick; Jimmy Kupec; and Richard Campbell. Alex Nyers, the bride's nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Potts is a secretary and aide for Keystone Rehabilitation Systems.
Her husband is a student at Youngstown State University and is a plumber-pipefitter with Local 396.
