Facts and terms
The Bummer Fund is set up to assist responsible pet owners experiencing difficulty paying for necessary care for their pet. Some restrictions include, but are not limited to:
People who have a record of providing a good home for a pet, but have limited income, such as senior citizens on a fixed income or families with an ill child for whom the loss of a pet would prove harmful.
People who already own a cat, dog or other pet. Fund money is not used to help pay for a new pet.
Animals whose medical condition do not compromise their quality of life.
