SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The wedding of Amy Beth McCarthy and Kevin James Bishop took place at Randolph Air Force Base Chapel One at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5.
The Rev. Frederick Lampe officiated for the daughter of Sharon McCarthy, 8228 E. Blackwillow Circle, Anaheim Hills, Calif., and the son of C. James and Martha Bishop, 890 Waugh Drive, Hubbard.
A reception followed at the Doubletree Hotel, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Orlando, Fla. They are living in Mildenhall, England.
Brodie Herman Gold of Metuchen, N.J., was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Karla Richter of San Angelo, Texas, and the bride's sister, Sarah McCarthy of Anaheim Hills. They wore gowns in varying shades of blue. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Caroline Scarvel of Girard, Pa.
Performing the duties of best man was Zachary Gendron of Boston, and serving as groomsmen were Benjamin Holstein of Valdosta, Ga., and Steven Slosek of Macon, Ga. Logan Rightmier of Torrance, Calif., was ring bearer.
Mrs. Bishop graduated from California State University in Fullerton, Calif., with a bachelor's degree in political science and earned her juris doctorate at Syracuse University College of Law, Syracuse, N.Y.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Syracuse University.
The couple are second lieutenants with the U.S. Air Force. She works in personnel, and he is a special operations navigator.
