Hudaks mark golden jubilee at family dinner

YOUNGSTOWN -- A family dinner was held Oct. 26 at Anthony's On-The-River in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hudak of 2827 Rexford Road.
Hosts for the event were the couple's daughters and son-in-law, Martha Hudak of Coudersport, Pa., and Christine and David Puhalla of Austintown. Three grandchildren complete the family.
Mr. Hudak and the former Margaret Koly were married Oct. 25, 1952, at St. Matthias Church.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired in January 1979 from the Youngstown Police Department, where he was a patrolman. He is a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Fraternal Order of Police and Crime Clinic of Greater Youngstown.
Mrs. Hudak is retired from the Youngstown City School District, where she was employed as a cook's helper.
The Hudaks are members of St. Christine Church.
