Dellicks feted for 50th jubilee at family dinner
BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Dellick of 34 Crestline Place were honored Oct. 5 at a family buffet at their home in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the festivities were made by the couple's family, Darla Dellick and Joseph Zajac of Poland and Deborah Dellick of Boardman. Another daughter and her husband, Cathy and Paul Kotsol of Plano, Texas, were unable to attend. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandson complete their family.
Mr. Dellick and the former Jean Sarah Jacobs were married Oct. 5, 1952, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and is retired after 45 years as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, having been employed at the South Side post office and then at the Boardman branch. He is a member of the Army Veterans Association.
Mrs. Dellick worked as a waitress at the former B & amp;O Happy Day Restaurant, and also did charity work and cared for the elderly.
The Dellicks belong to Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown, where Mr. Dellick is a member of the Holy Name Society.
