Editor to speakon evolution
HIRAM -- Elizabeth Culotta, contributing editor for Science, will talk on evolution, "Ways of Knowing: Science, Religion and Intelligent Design," at 7 tonight at Hiram College in Room 120 of the Colton Science Building.
A panel discussion on evolution and intelligent design will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 31 at Hiram College's Kennedy Center Ballroom.
Featured speakers will be Ken Alpern, professor of ethics; Jon Moody, campus chaplain; Marlene Jennings, Ohio State school board member; and Christine Lamitina, Hiram student.
Drive-through clinicavailable for flu shots
BOARDMAN -- Senior Independence Home Health Care will offering a drive-through flu-shot clinic from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at Sam's Club, 7469 South Ave.
Traditional Medicare will be billed at no cost to the patient. All others, including HMOs, will be charged $18 and will receive a receipt to submit to insurance companies for reimbursements.
