Ramseys mark 50th anniversary at dinner party

POLAND -- A family tribute highlighted a dinner party held Sept 15 at the Lockwood House in Boardman in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ramsey of Edna Street, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were their son, Scott Ramsey of St. Croix; their former son-in-law, Gary Mohr of Hudson; and their daughter, Cathy Mohr of California. Also participating were their three granddaughters.
The former Wanda Jones and Mr. Ramsey were united in marriage Sept. 12, 1952, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown.
Mr. Ramsey served with the U.S. Army Reserves and retired from LTV Steel Corp. after 40 years of service.
Mrs. Ramsey is also retired after being employed as a secretary with the Youngstown Board of Education.
