YOUNGSTOWN -- Four Mile Run Christian Church provided the setting Sept. 21 for the wedding of Kelly Holmes, 1842 Farmdale Ave., Mineral Ridge, and A.J. Ylonen of Poland who exchanged vows during a ceremony at 2 p.m. before the Rev. Bob Mack.
The newlyweds received guests during a reception at the Maronite Center then left for a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean. They live in Poland.
Parents of the couple are James and Arlene Holmes of the Farmdale Avenue address and Arnold and Barb Ylonen, 1765 Dumont Drive, Mineral Ridge.
A trail of buttons adorned the train of the bride's white satin A-line gown accented with pearls and beaded appliques.
Honor attendant was Kelly Kramer of Liberty, who wore an apple red dress, as did the bridesmaids, Michelle Martin of Columbus, Erica Horak of Philadelphia, Stacie Gerberry of Youngstown and Jen Hines of Dayton.
Serving as best man was Steve Gerberry of Youngstown. Groomsmen were Kevin Holmes of Mineral Ridge, the bride's brother, and Shaun Broennle of Niles, Todd Burkhart of Mineral Ridge and Dave Hines of Dayton.
A graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in communication, Mrs. Ylonen is employed as the benefits manager at Schwebel Baking Co.
Mr. Ylonen is employed as an installer with Heydle Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. He graduated from E.T.I. Technical College in Niles.
