50th Anniversary is celebrated by the Lippiatts

AUSTINTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lippiatt, 4291 Kerrybrook Drive, was celebrated during an Oct. 14-20 golf outing at a golf resort in Pennsylvania.
The former Patricia Delany and Mr. Lippiatt were married Oct. 31, 1952, at Austintown Community Church. They are members of Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Lippiatt graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. She was a registered nurse in Arizona and in Youngstown and retired in 1990 from St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, where she was a cardiac rehabilitation nurse.
Mr. Lippiatt served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as an aircraft maintenance general foreman from the Air Force Reserves in 1976.
The couple's children are Robert Lippiatt of Portsmouth, Va., and Deborah Wagner and Scott A. Lippiatt, both of Austintown. There are five grandsons in the family.
