CANFIELD -- A 40-year-old Howland man appeared in county court here on his fourth charge of driving under the influence in six years.
City police said Robert P. Burton appeared before Judge Scott D. Hunter on Friday on the latest charge and also entered innocent pleas to charges of driving under suspension and giving false information to a police officer, court personnel said.
Burton, of West Mauro Circle, registered a 0.174 on a breath-alcohol test after he was stopped about 10 p.m. Thursday on East Main Street near state Route 11, police reports show. When asked for identification, he had initially given police his brother's name, records show.
Krichbaum will serveas mentor for judges
YOUNGSTOWN -- Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court has been appointed to the Ohio Judicial College New Judge Mentor Program. He will serve as a judicial mentor for new judges, training them in legal, ethical, administrative and personal matters. He was appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court.
Speed set at 25 mph
BOARDMAN -- Township trustees have made the speed limit 25 mph on Bishop Woods Court, California Avenue, Cedar Way, Cranberry Creek, Cranberry Lane, Mayfield Drive, Southfield Drive and York Avenue.
