Scouting report: Westminster won last week, 23-20 over Bethany on Josh Simpson's 38-yard field goal with 6:46 remaining, while Thiel posted a 21-13 win over Waynesburg. Senior OG Rick Rhoden (Mineral Ridge) of Westminster was named Offensive Titan of the Week for his strong blocking performance. Senior DT Charles Kiger was named Defensive Titan of the Week with six tackles, one pass breakup and a fumble recovery. Freshman CB Tom Froelich was Special Teams Titan of the Week with 10 tackles, including seven solos, and a partially blocked punt and a pass breakup. For Thiel, sophomore QB Daryl Moore was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week for passing for 237 yards on 18-for-33 and three TDs of 5, 80 and 12 yards. Junior Justin Napotnik (Sharpsville) rushed for 103 yards in 16 carries, exceeding 100 yards for the first time this season. Sophomore WR Shannon Alston had 11 catches for 103 yards and two TDs of 5 and 12 yards.

Scouting report: John Carroll stayed perfect with a 46-0 rout of Marietta, while Mount Union rolled past Heidelberg, 61-0. Senior RB Dan Pugh of Mount Union rushed for 130 yards in 14 carries and two TDs, and now has 14 TDs for the year. Sophomore PK Chad Teague made all four of his field goal attempts of 26, 30, 21 and 36 yards. Senior QB Tom Arth of John Carroll passed for 329 yards and four TDs and broke the school record for career TD passes with 80. He has thrown 213 passes without and interception, including 176 this season.

Scouting report: Wittenberg was dealt its first loss of the season by Wabash, 46-43, in overtime, while Hiram was blasted by Allegheny, 56-0. Senior QB Greg Cornett of Wittenberg passed for a career-high 367 yards and a school-record 33 completions. Senior LB Brad Maguth of Hiram came up with 15 tackles against the Gators.

Sophomore LB Tim Cline of Wooster had 15 tackles, 21/2 sacks for minus 11 yards, one forced fumble and one pass breakup. Junior QB Bubba Smith of Allegheny completed 12 of 13 passes for 141 yards and one TD, and rushed for 15 yards in four carries and two TDs.
